New Makeup Purchases

l-r : MUA Ever After Matte Palette / Benefit Porefessional Mini / Bare Minerals 'Faux Tan' Bronzer / Benefit Hello Flawless Powder 'Nutmeg' / Collection Lasting Perfection Foundation

MUA Ever After matte palette :  You may have seen me already review this palette here. It's so lovely and surprisingly un-chalky (is that even a word?!) Plus at £4 you really can't go wrong with an all-matte palette

Benefit Porefessional : Technically a cheat buy as I didn't buy this - it was a freebie was ELLE last month. It's a really lovely primer though and does a great job of minimising my pores. I'm considering buying the full size when I next get paid

Bare Minerals 'Faux Tan' bronzer : This is such a lovely bronzer for adding a luminescent glow to the cheeks or all over the face. I actually got a job with bare minerals just the other day (SO excited!) and honestly this product is great as it blends out seamlessly without leaving a muddy dull contour as many bronzers do

Benefit Hello Flawless Powder 'Nutmeg'  : Obviously, I won't be using this as a setting powder as it's around 5 shades too dark for me! But I actually picked this up with the intention of using it as a bronzing powder/contour powder - and as it was £10 in TKmaxx I couldn't really pass up the offer! It's lovely and smooth and blends nicely into the skin.. plus the staying power is great as it's intended to keep your makeup in place!

Collection Lasting Perfection Foundation 'Cool Beige' : This is one of my favourite foundations, but when I went to pick up a new bottle I was disappointed to see that Collection had altered all the shades - I went for one that looked okay. Sadly, Cool Beige looked pretty different under the shop lights and is just a little too ashy, but I like to mix it with a warmer toned foundation and I still get the full coverage of this product!

Good luck for your new job! :)

I have a dark shade of the Hello Flawless Powder I use just for contouring/bronzer purposes! I think for usually powdering the formula may be a bit too heavy for my preferences!

Great post! You've reminded me I need to purchase the benefit porefessional - cannot wait to hear more about bare minerals from you. I've only ever tried the powder foundation.
